Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We trust yours was great, especially since we saw most of you at some point over the holiday (which, sadly, seems to be ending today). Nothing to look forward to from this point on besides Valentine's Day, so let's look back and revel one more time, huh? Especially since this year I'll be single on February 14. For those of you who don't know, and that can only be about one or two of you, Mark and I are getting divorced. I won't go into great detail here except to say, despite the fact that I never imagined this happening and always felt Mark was the love of my life, this is probably the best decision I've ever made for myself, and I think ultimately for Adriana, too.
That said, here are some pictures and video footage of Gab's first piano recital, taken on December 23. As you'll soon see if you watch the clip, Gab was very composed (music pun!) and adept at playing legato. I'm so proud. I think she already plays better than I ever did.

Not only does Gab play better than I did, she looks so much cooler than I did back then. What style! And not one mistake! If I could go back to myself on that bench, I'd say, stop sweating it. EForget about tempo and just try to play it as fast as you can so we can all get our cookies and juice.
Hahaha - that's what most of the kids did. The cookies were delicious! Gab is the hippest kid in town, for sure. Always has been.
